Tenby

Information on the Town of Tenby

The seaside town of Tenby is often referred to as the jewel in the crown of Pembrokeshire. It is one of the most visited seaside towns in Wales.

Picturesque Tenby is famous for it’s award winning beaches but has a lot more to offer. Wander along the harbour and hop on a boat to take you to Caldey Island inhabited by the monks of Caldey Abbey.

Nearby Heatherton is a great attraction for families of all ages and groups of all sizes. Do something exhilarating like go-karting or zoom pass the crowds on the Tree Tops Zip-line.

Younger families can spend a fun day at the Dinosaur Park or visit Folly Adventure Farm and Zoo which has become one of the leading visitor attractions in Wales.

The exciting indoor Blue Lagoon water park is a great place for rainy days and nearby is Oakwood Theme Park, one of the ten leading theme parks in the country.

Museums, art galleries, and glass blowing add to the wide variety of activities that Tenby offers.

The town itself is home to many restaurants, shops, cafes and pubs all linked by cobbled streets
